Donations for Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico

As you probably already know, Hurricane Maria devastated the island of Puerto Rico. Our Puerto Rican brother and sisters are struggling for survival, with 95% of the island still without electricity as of October 3. A majority of the island remains without running water. Hospitals are unable to adequately care for patients, with upwards of 200 deaths since the hurricane; most of which have gone unreported. The US government response has left much to be desired, and has left the people without basic necessities, such as food and water. But still the people of Puerto Rico persist. They have banded together through this tragedy, and we are hoping to gather as many supplies and donations possible to assist them in rebuilding. See the map below, which shows the organizations who are receiving the donations, and learn more about where your donations are headed.

OCHO is accepting both monetary donations and supplies. A current supply list is as follows:

Mosquito repellant and bug spray (and citronella products)
Feminine hygiene products: tampons and pads
